Life Through Aleks Kop’s Lens: Everything Exists as a Possibility

What is your definition of being an accomplished woman?

An accomplished woman follows her dreams, serves herself and others from a place of authenticity, and understands that life is an ongoing journey of aligning with who we are and what we are here to do. She carries the confidence that where she is right now is exactly where she needs to be, moving forward with the understanding that life is filled with possibilities.

For me, accomplishment means living fully in the present and serving others and the world along the way.

How did you come to know that this is your calling (aka the career of your life)?

I tried it. I believe we learn through doing—being present and taking action allows us to feel whether something is truly for us.

I took a yoga teacher training course, and after completing the exam class, I realized how much I loved it. I experienced life-changing coaching and saw its impact firsthand. I even took over a yoga studio at the start of the pandemic and guided myself through learning simply by doing.

It’s not always easy to avoid self-judgment when learning through action. Mistakes and comparisons to others are inevitable. When I feel stuck, I seek support from mentors, coaches, and other inspiring individuals.

What was your journey toward achieving your dreams?

For me, it’s not about achieving one dream and stopping there—it’s an evolving process. One dream often leads to another, and there’s no final destination. I’ve said yes to opportunities, sometimes without knowing exactly how I’d proceed. Every time, those “yeses” led to new and elevated dreams, ones I hadn’t even dared to imagine.

Having a clear vision is essential, but keeping an open mind to unexpected possibilities is just as important.

How did you overcome the obstacles you faced in your career trajectory?

When I moved to Berlin, I did not know German and only had 200 hours of yoga teacher training—just like many other teachers. I also took over a yoga studio one month before the pandemic began.

Obstacles are always present, whether created by us or external circumstances. What has worked for me is:

  • Taking time to reflect and listen to my inner voice. The answers to life’s big decisions often lie within.
  • Using visualization: I meditate and reflect on potential outcomes. I ask myself, Where am I right now? I visualize what my life will look like if I say yes or no to a decision.

Support has also been key. Since I was 19, I’ve sought mentors and inspiring individuals in my chosen fields. Talking through challenges with them helps me step back, observe, and make confident decisions.

As my mentor Cari often says, Everything is figureoutable.

Women have an incredible ability to come together, uplift one another, and create tribes—this is a skill we must preserve and nurture.

What role do mentors play in your life?

Mentors have played a vital role in my journey. While I love learning, I value action and real-world feedback even more. Mentors provide guidance, support, and insights that help me take informed action.

What is your definition of success?

Success is a series of small, everyday wins that move you closer to your goals. It’s about self-sustainability, self-leadership, perseverance, and maintaining momentum—even when your current reality hasn’t yet caught up to your vision.

Sometimes, we dream and manifest faster than the world around us can catch up. The key is to keep believing and moving forward; the world will align with your dream in time.

How do you celebrate success?

I share it with my husband, mentors, and family. Occasionally, I push myself to share on social media or in my private Facebook group.

I also carve out time for myself—a massage, a special yoga class, or even a meaningful gift. Celebrating achievements allows me to reflect, amplify positive energy, and build trust, self-love, and happiness.

What inspires you?

Humans and our endless capacity for creation inspire me. When we focus our energy and attention, incredible things bloom.

I’m particularly inspired by feminine leadership. The interplay between feminine/masculine energy (Shiva/Shakti, yin/yang) has always fascinated me. We’ve lost touch with this balance over time, but the rise of feminine energy is reconnecting us with care, connection, and creativity.

Too often, we burn out by operating solely in masculine energy—focused on goals, achievements, and competition. While these are necessary for progress, they need to be balanced with the feminine. For example, honoring our body’s needs, like resting during menstruation, can lead to better decision-making, improved health, and greater compassion in the workplace.

Feminine energetics in business and how we can cultivate them further is my current source of inspiration.

Every time I said yes, it led me to new and elevated dreams—ones I hadn’t even dared to imagine.

What empowers you?

Women and community.

As an extrovert, I know that when I’m feeling off, I need to connect with others. Building meaningful relationships, supporting others, and growing together is incredibly empowering.

The ability of women to come together, uplift one another, and create tribes is a skill and inner calling we must continue to nurture.

What makes you bloom inside and out?

Movement, dance, connection, knowledge, support, self-care, giving, receiving, and love.
