When you need a shift in orientation, a reminder of what you already know but have forgotten, when you want to discover something new, when you feel dull and need a little sparkle, you just go back to poetry. Or at least I do, as poetry has been for me a form of epiphany, a manifestation of the sacred and of the relationships between all things.

Oftentimes, our work in the world is born out of our personal journey so the perspective that I am sharing today comes from my exploration into death and healing… I’ve had my share of experience in both these fields: throughout my personal life, in my work with cancer patients in America and also in my journey of self-transformation. 

In 2019 I got a phone call which gave a true spin to what my life was. I had been asked to work on the Last Overland expedition as the head of Digital Marketing as well as digital storyteller. I had left my « daily » life to cross the world in a 65 years old Land Rover with a team of 7 males, all perfect strangers to me.
