At our inaugural retreat, in the picturesque Algarve, Portugal, we embraced a long weekend of rejuvenation and creativity. Our time together was a deep dive into curated workshops, self-exploration sessions, cooking classes, and culinary artistry, all set against the backdrop of the region’s natural beauty. We celebrated our diverse stories, indulged in the essence of slow living, and reignited our collective creative spirit.

As we marked the first year of our journey, our Anniversary Dinner celebrated the essence of creative entrepreneurship. A year back, we embarked on a mission: to craft a haven for women to converge, to weave tales of inspiration, and to co-create magic. This evening was a tribute to that spirit.

At our second SWS Conversation, we shifted the spotlight to the heart of leadership: empathy and kindness. Through an engaging panel discussion, our speakers shared insights on reshaping work cultures. This wasn’t just a talk; it was an invitation to redefine leadership, to ask pressing questions, and to network with visionary women. Together, we explored the blueprint for a compassionate professional world, where every action echoes with understanding and care.

In the heart of Web Summit in Lisbon, we initiated our very first event in the SWS Conversation series. Amidst the buzz of innovation, we delved deep into the pivotal role of women in today’s tech landscape. Powerful voices shared their tales of resilience and triumph. Attendees found answers and guidance, while exploring the essence of tenacity in tech.

In a serene escape from the city’s hustle, we gathered at Velvet Winery, amidst the fresh scent of cut grass and the warm amber hues of a vineyard sunset. Vibrant women shared tales that resonated deeply, turning strangers into friends. Our table, adorned with candles and wildflowers, showcased a feast crafted from fresh local ingredients and perfectly paired wines. As nightfall approached, the enchanting ambiance allowed us to truly disconnect, immersing ourselves in the present moment, surrounded by nature and the company of inspiring women.

Sassy Women Society emerged from a heartfelt desire to unite creative, curious, and extraordinary ladies, with the aim of inspiring, uplifting, and empowering one another.

In the embrace of March, we celebrated our first gathering. It was an evening filled with intimacy and authenticity, infused by the charm of our special guests and flavoured by a conversation around purpose.

For we truly believe that when women gather, sharing their tales and dreams, magic unfolds. It’s not just about blooming; it’s about thriving together.
